WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic Designer with professional design skills, an ambitious mind, and the drive to continually push their learning to join Pavegen’s growing design team! We are looking a strong portfolio of work that showcases skills in as many of the following areas as possible.

CORE:

Software Skills: Fluency with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite In particular, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects
Graphic Design We are looking for someone with a strong foundation of skill in clean, energetic and modern graphic design.
3D Modelling/CAD We use a variety of tools to build our designs. A strong understanding of modelling and texturing will be of great value.
Experience Design One of the Design Team’s core roles is to work with our clients to create meaningful and engaging experiences. We are looking for a creative who can help us to solve new exciting briefs.
UX/UI Design From refining the design of our website to helping to design new pieces of software to support our product, a strong understanding of UX and UI principles helps to ensure everything we build doesn’t just look good but primarily delivers on its core functionality.
Rapid Visualization Skills We have an endless stream of briefs fired our way in the Design Team, so whether it’s building scenes in 3D or creating a diagram on illustrator, communicating designs using a rapid iterative approach is essential to our success.

BONUS:

Social media content creation Experience creating bold, impactful content rapidly.
Video editing Communicating what we do effectively is essential to our mission. We are looking for someone who has strong video editing skills and has an understanding of effective storytelling.
Design for Print We often design physical installations to support our projects. Experience and knowledge of optimising artwork for physical printing would be valued.
Motion graphics Whether we are designing software or telling a story on social media, motion graphics can be an effective way to enhance our communication.
Game Design Pavegen can be used as a game controller and we are looking to build out our suite of games. Knowledge of basic 2D game design would be helpful.
Content Capture Strong Capabilities in Video capture and photography.
Understanding of Code and Electronics We work closely with our tech team to develop new functionality for our product. A solid understanding of coding and electronics will equip you with the skills to communicate with them effectively.
