Headquartered in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, with over 300 B2B customers, the Company works on cutting-edge projects in high-end food and beverage manufacturing, pharma, and energy.We are currently seeking experienced Digital Manufacturing Engineers (3+ years of experience) to manage and lead technical activities on digital manufacturing and automation projects. As an Endorsed AVEVA System Integrator, applicants with experience in AVEVA products, including AVEVA MES, System Platform, InTouch, Batch Management, Historian, or Skelta BPM will have an added advantage.This is a full-time staff position based in our Chesterfield office, with an excellent salary and benefits package.Responsibilities/ DutiesLeading the build, configuration, validation, and delivery of cutting-edge digital manufacturing systems.Liaising with customers to gather and translate project and process improvement requirements into functional design and detailed design documentation.Database design and development in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.UX design and development in Angular, C#, Javascript, and ASP.Net Core.Designing and developing production reports in AVEVA Historian and AVEVA PI System.Providing technical and automation operational support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation and Facilities departments.Co-ordinating and supporting project commissioning activities.Enforcing technical and project execution best practices.Mentoring and training of junior engineers.Working closely with customers to identify areas for process improvement through automation and data analytics technology.Researching new technologies and trends in Digital Manufacturing.Qualifications/ Skills/ ExperienceExperienced digital manufacturing engineer with 3+ years’ experience in AVEVA (Wonderware) products.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Instrumentation/ Information Systems or related field.Database design and development experience in Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle.UX design and development experience in Angular, C#, Javascript and/or ASP.Net Core.Web programming experience; including JavaScript, CSS, JSON, JQuery, Web API, HTML5 and/or REST API.Report Writing experience in AVEVA Historian, AVEVA PI System or similar.PLC Programming/HMI/SCADA experience desirable: Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, etc.Experience working with validated Automation systems in the Food and Beverage or Pharma manufacturing environment.CharacteristicsWe look for candidates whoWork well as part of a team.Have excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills.Can prioritise and coordinate work.Have excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.Can multitask and work well under pressure.Are a strategic business thinker.Package/ BenefitsCompetitive starting salary with year-on-year bonuses and salary increases.Paid OvertimePension with employer contributionHealth InsuranceIncome ProtectionLife AssuranceRemote Working/ Flexi-time/ Compressed Working WeekDon’t miss this opportunity to join a company at the forefront of digital manufacturing projects in the UK and Europe.
