Zachary Daniels Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing ecommerce and consumer brand to recruit a Marketing Data Analyst.
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious business at an exciting stage of its growth. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will become the analytical engine behind the marketing team, helping turn customer, campaign and commercial data into clear actions.
This is not a role focused on producing reports for the sake of it. The business needs someone who can spot trends, ask the right questions and explain what the data means for future marketing activity, customer growth and commercial performance.
What you'll be doing
· Building and maintaining marketing dashboards across GA4, Meta Ads and Google Ads
· Owning weekly and monthly marketing performance reporting
· Monitoring key commercial metrics including CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rate and AOV
· Analysing website traffic, customer behaviour and funnel performance
· Measuring campaign and channel ROI to help guide marketing investment
· Analysing creative performance across paid, organic, social and content channels
· Providing audience and customer segment insights to improve targeting and messaging
· Working with the growth team to design and analyse A/B and multivariate tests
· Identifying retention, upsell and customer growth opportunities
· Supporting product and commercial teams with customer demand, search trend and market analysis
· Presenting clear, commercially focused recommendations to the CMO and wider marketing team
· Improving data quality, tracking and confidence across the business
What we're looking for
· Around four to six years' experience in marketing analytics, performance analytics or a commercially focused data analyst role
· Experience working within an ecommerce, DTC, retail or consumer-led environment
· Strong hands-on knowledge of GA4, Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads
· A clear understanding of CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rate and wider ecommerce performance metrics
· Experience building dashboards using Looker Studio, Tableau or an equivalent platform
· Strong spreadsheet modelling and data manipulation skills
· Experience designing and analysing structured tests
· The ability to translate complex data into practical recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
· A proactive and curious approach, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and investigate what is driving performance
· SQL experience would be advantageous but is not essential
An interest in consumer lifestyle, health, wellness or performance-led products would also be beneficial.
What's on offer
· Salary of £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
· Annual company performance bonus
· Private healthcare
· Pension scheme
· 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
· Modern office environment with on-site fitness and wellbeing facilities
· Company events and employee product discounts
· Direct exposure to the CMO and the opportunity to influence marketing decisions across the entire business
This role is fully on-site in Lancashire and would suit someone who enjoys working closely with creative, marketing, growth and product teams in a fast-moving environment.
