Digital Marketing Executive

Full time – 37.5 hours per week – all year.

Downe House are recruiting for a full time Digital Marketing Executive to join our Marketing and Communications Team.

You will be adept at creating and managing content for digital and print platforms to include direct mail, social media, website content, video (filming and editing), brochures and advertising.

With flair and a proactive approach, you will demonstrate enthusiasm and skills to translate ideas into marketing messages and create campaigns to communicate them.

You will be responsible for the management of our digital channels, including the Downe House website and primary social media accounts, as well as development, design and creation of compelling digital content, with a strong emphasis on video, photography and graphics.

The role is incredibly varied and requires a strong understanding of marketing communications and digital channels. You will be a natural multi-tasker with outstanding communication skills and meticulous attention to detail, along with the determination to meet deadlines in a busy and dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Strong digital marketing skills, with prior experience managing websites and digital marketing/email channels – including SEO/SEM and performance analytics
Social media expert, with a proven track record of creating engaging digital content
Content strategy and creation including copywriting,

motion graphics, photography, video content creation and editing.
Expert Canva or Adobe Creative Suite user, to create social media and other digital content.
Briefing and managing agencies to deliver some outsourced design.
Proficiency with MS Office 365 and SharePoint understanding of brand design principles, including imagery and graphic style, visual and verbal tone of voice, typography and layout techniques.
Forensic attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics – ensuring all published content is on-brand and accurate .
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Salary range £28,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience
