Job Description

In 2004, we created a comprehensive healthcare web-application that runs all aspects of a medical practice, from GP practices up to large hospitals groups. Our product enables single and multiple location private medical practices to connect securely to their data from any location worldwide. The business is thriving and we are proudly the leading online medical management system on the UK market.

Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a Digital Marketing and Web Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our website, creating landing pages for PPC campaigns, optimizing our website for SEO, enhancing accessibility, and handling integrations with CRM systems. If you have a marketing background and a passion for web development, this role is perfect for you.

This Digital Marketing and Web Development Specialist role combines web development, SEO, and marketing expertise to ensure the successful management of your online presence and marketing efforts. Candidates with a diverse skill set and a passion for both web development and marketing will excel in this position.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Website Management:
Maintain and update our WordPress website.
Ensure the website's functionality, security, and performance.
Implement new features and improvements as needed.

Landing Page Creation:
Design and build engaging landing pages tailored for PPC campaigns.
Optimize landing pages for conversion and user experience.

SEO and Website Ranking:
Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices.
Monitor website rankings and make necessary adjustments.
Work on strategies to improve organic search visibility.

Website Accessibility:
Ensure the website complies with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
Identify and address accessibility issues to improve user experience.

Web Design (Optional):
Utilize web design skills to enhance the visual appeal and usability of the website.

CRM Integration:
Set up and maintain contact forms on the website.
Integrate the website with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce for lead management.

Marketing Support:
Collaborate with the marketing team to align website and digital efforts with overall marketing strategies.
Assist in creating and executing digital marketing campaigns when needed.

Person Specification:
Relevant Experience Required
Proven experience in WordPress development and website management.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web development languages is a plus.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience with SEO tools.
Familiarity with web accessibility standards and guidelines.
Web design skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience with CRM systems, especially HubSpot or Salesforce.
A background in marketing is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
Experience in Marketing or a quantitative, test-driven field.

Experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) to an intermediate level.

Other:
Ability to travel to London up (ideally 2 days per week) to work in a hybrid way with the Marketing team.

Salary information:
Salary for this role is paying up to £40,000 per annum.

Our London office is located minutes from Fenchurch Street Station, whilst our Southampton office is minutes from Southampton Central Station. Both offices have excellent bike storage and shower facilities.

We operate a flexi-hours scheme between 8.30am – 6.00pm with an hour for lunch. You will not be expected to work extremely long hours, as so often happens in software companies. We prefer the approach of ‘it’s a marathon not a sprint’, so we actively discourage working gruelling hours.
