Job Description - Digital Optimisation Specialist

Are you an experienced Digital Optimisation Specialist with strong knowledge of using different optimisation & experimentation techniques? Do you have a passion for delivering great customer outcomes along with strong analytical and numeracy skills?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Digital Performance & Analytics team in a newly created role which will be key in helping to maximise the value of our digital transformation journey.
About the role
As a Digital Optimisation Specialist you will establish the process and technical capability required to enable data and hypothesis led experimentation to drive incremental conversions. You'll be responsible for identifying actionable insights and developing testable hypothesis with the purpose of optimising user experience and commercial outcomes, including acquisition, retention, channel adoption and failure demand. You will proactively work with the Digital Product owners and their squad to define, scope, and deliver a program of optimisation to improve existing capability and to minimise the risk of launching new features.
What will you bring to the role?
In order to be considered for this role you must have experience of using the following:
A/B Testing and Experimentation Tools. E.g.: Optimizely, VWO (Visual Website Optimizer), Convert.com, Google Optimize.
Web Analytics Tools. E.g. google analytics, adobe analytics.
Heatmaps and Session Recording Tools. E.g.: Contentsquare, Hotjar, Crazy Egg.
We're also looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Experience in the application of different optimisation and experimentation techniques to deliver business outcomes.
Experience of optimisation of metrics beyond traditional conversion rate.
Proficiency using qualitative and quantitative data and statistics to design experiments and validate results.
Experience working within a fast-paced digital focused environment. This should include analysis, hypothesis and value definition, backlog creation, stakeholder management and communication.
Being a subject matter expert' in using the Digital Experimentation, Analytics, and Insight tools, including proficiency using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Proven experience of explaining detailed and/or technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
