Job Description - Digital PMO Analyst

A Digital PMO Analyst is required for a permanent role paying up to £36,974.97 per annum with British Transport Police (BTP) based at FHQ Camden, London.

We are a national police force covering the rail network throughout Great Britain, including the London Underground, ensuring the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year.

As Digital PMO Analyst you will be required to:

Ensure that all IT projects and programmes follow the BTP project management methodology, and assurance
Create management and reporting information on behalf of the Portfolio Delivery function
Provide 'hands-on' project management support, resources and expertise to the Technology Department as required
Prepare project documentation and support project gateway meetings, to consider, scope define incoming projects.
The successful candidate will be required to evidence the following:

Understanding of project management best practice
Experience of collaborating with technical staff
Experience of organising and managing meetings, briefings and preparing appropriate documentation including briefs, taking and writing accurate minutes
Good understanding of a range of technical skills across a diverse IT environment
In return for your experience, we can offer you:

Up to £41,849.72 per annum (base £36,529.65 + a London Allowance of £3033.56 (if applicable London based) plus a non pensionable/non contractual Skills Framework for the Information Age Supplement of up to £ £2,286.51 (value awarded dependant on self assessment)
