Digital PR Executive

Job DescriptionBeards & Daisies is one of the UK’s largest house plant retailers, with our nursery and offices based in Chelmsford, Essex. With fast growth (pardon the pun!) over the past five years, we’re now looking for an inspiring, hands-on Digital PR Executive to join our team.You’ll be working in a fast paced environment and we’re after a tenacious and experienced Digital PR Executive to help define and drive our ambitious digital PR strategy. This is a varied role and you’ll be a confident and driven individual ready to open up some great opportunities.Responsibilities:- You'll be responsible for campaign ideation, research, copywriting and outreach- Coming up with creative ideas for content marketing/outreach campaigns, specifically targeted to high authority and relevant websites and journalists.- Craft compelling press releases, articles, and other content to secure media coverage.- Manage relationships with journalists from relevant and high authority domains.- Develop and implement comprehensive Digital PR strategies to increase brand visibility, build high-authority backlinks and enhance our online reputation.- Stakeholder management and producing reports to present to the wider business.- You'll be responsible for campaign ideation, research, copywriting and outreach- Monitor and report on the performance of Digital PR campaigns.- Craft compelling press releases, articles, and other content to secure media coverage.- Collaborate with the marketing team to align PR efforts with broader marketing strategies.- Be proactive in spotting opportunities for reactive news stories.Experience & Skills:- Minimum 2 years' experience in Digital PR, at an agency or in-house.- Have a wider knowledge of the fundamentals of how Digital PR can contribute to SEO strategy.- Able to leverage content marketing and Digital PR to improve SEO performance and visibility.- Enthusiastic team member hungry to excel and progress in Digital PR.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Excellent writing and organisational skills to manage projects.- Experience in data analysis to craft Digital PR-led stories for campaigns.- Attention to detail – delivering the highest quality press releases and assets for in-house and client projects.- Great time management and able to prioritise tasks effectively.- Able to present all ideas and strategies to the team with confidence.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- A natural go-getter, self-motivated and proactive- Ability to think ‘commercially’ about your workload and prioritise accordingly- Proficient in written and verbal English.Benefits include:- £32K-£35K salary- 25 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday- Company Pension Scheme- Hybrid working, with 2 days at home and 3 in our office in Roxwell, Chelmsford- Generous company discount
