Salary & Benefits: Salary from £50,876 per annum dependent on experience, a company car lease/allowance scheme, annual incentive related bonus (up to 10% of annual salary), private health care, attractive pension scheme (Up to 10% company contribution), life assurance cover of 4 times pensionable salary and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a wellness day. Work type: Permanent, full time working 37 hours per week, Monday

Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Product Design Manager to join the Customer Experience team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Where you fit in -

We are now looking for a?Digital Product Design Manager?to join us on this journey, you will work as part of a cross functional team in partnership with the Digital Product Manager, Content Designer and Developers. You will be accountable for making sure that Yorkshire Waters digital service experience is loved by our customers across Yorkshire. Putting users at the heart of decision making the Digital Product Design Manager will ensure that digital experiences are easy to use and create value for our customers.

You will develop outcome focussed user experiences and prototypes at any level of fidelity needed. Skilled at visualising ideas and concepts effectively you will be experienced in the areas of visual design, user experience design, and user interface design.

You will also be comfortable prototyping and researching experiences taking a lean approach to gathering insight to inform designs. Always advocating for customers putting their needs at the heart of the design process making sure we deliver brilliant solutions for real customer problems.

You will take a lead role in creating a culture of design excellence chairing design Community of Practice and helping to coach and inspire other user experience designers.

What skills & qualifications you will need:

Previous experience of designing consumer digital service journeys for app and web that are used by customers at scale is essential for this role.

We are looking for a user-centered designer, expert in -
o User experience and interaction design
o User interface design
o User centered research, prototyping, user journey mapping and workshop facilitation
o Visual design
o Accessible design

You will be able to understand and interpret digital analytics and be experienced in using design systems and collaborative design tools. It would be advantageous if you have digital content design experience.

You will be a confident communicator, able to work well with others and be able to take a highly collaborative approach. You will be a highly creative individual able to resolve problems effectively.
