Job Description - Digital Recruitment Apprentice

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an apprentice to join our dynamic recruitment team. As an apprentice, you will provide essential digital and administrative support, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all candidates, while adhering to safer recruitment guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert user of Job Train. Job Train is the portal you will use to view candidate applications. When successful offers are made, you will assign onboarding documents, request references and verify documents
  • Adapt and become a key user of LearnPro. LearnPro is an inhouse learning system which allows employees to undertake learning courses. You will assess employee progress regularly and ensure that mandatory staff training is being undertaken within correct timeframes
  • Use of CRM systems to raise and receipt purchase orders. Purchase orders will be needed for supporting the payment of job boards and adverts
  • Enter data on Microsoft Excel such as current vacancies to track information and track the progress of outstanding documents for onboarding
  • Schedule meetings using Microsoft Outlook and support with the planning of diarises of team members. You will also be in charge of keeping the centralised mailbox tidy
  • Manage the interview process for candidates. Starting by communicating with candidates via telephone about roles and then organising their interview. You will provide email confirmation that contains information regarding interviews
  • Meet and greet candidates when they arrive at the office for interviews
  • Support successful candidate onboarding checks, including requesting references and processing PVG applications

  • Strong Maths and English skills

Salary:

£16,000 per annum

Working week:

37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 4:30pm

Training and progression:

On-the-job training will be provided. Should you perform well, you will have the opportunity to move into a permanent position. Also, upon completion of your apprenticeship, as your role and responsibilities grow, your salary will reflect this.

This vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer.  Throughout your learning journey, you are fully supported by your dedicated QA skills coach and your mentor at work.  They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
