Digital Sales Lead – Energy & Industrial (Home Based, UK)

Russell James Recruitment is recruiting a Digital Sales Lead for a global leader in industrial automation and electrification. They are investing heavily in digital growth across the Energy and Process Industries and need a senior commercial leader to build and scale their UK digital business.

The role

You will own the UK digital portfolio end to end – industrial software, asset performance management (APM), optimisation and advanced analytics – and set the strategy for how it grows. This is a market-building role with real executive visibility, not an inherited patch.

What you'll do

* Define and deliver the UK digital sales strategy and multi-year plans for priority customers

* Build a credible, qualified pipeline for digital and asset reliability solutions

* Lead senior engagements with operators, EPCs and partners, and personally drive selected high-value pursuits

* Turn digital capability into clear customer value, ROI and business outcomes

* Coach and mobilise the wider Automation, Electrification and account teams to sell digital

* Keep pipeline, forecasting and CRM discipline tight

What you'll bring

* Senior B2B solution sales experience in digital, software, APM or automation

* A track record of building pipeline and closing complex, consultative deals

* A solid understanding of industrial, energy or process environments

* Confidence engaging at C-suite, engineering and operations level

* An entrepreneurial, structured approach and the drive to create momentum from scratch

The package

Circa £100,000 base plus bonus and a strong benefits package. Home based with UK travel.
