Job Description - Digital Strategist

Role Overview:
As Lead Digital Strategist, you will spearhead the growth and development of our digital ecosystem, bringing a blend of technical know-how, creativity and strategic acumen to the table. You will be instrumental in enhancing our clients’ digital communications strategies, guiding our internal teams while working within the Client Services department to refine and promote our digital products through a comprehensive campaign led offering.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about stories, someone who creates solutions through a business-first lens to enable clarity, improved perceptions that align with our clients' wider strategy, vision and goals. Through your own research in collaboration with our communication consultants you will uncover challenges and opportunities, developing a roadmap to help realise near term objectives and long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Digital strategy
Develop and implement digital strategies that align with our clients’ goals, demonstrating measurable KPIs.
Provide leadership and direction to our teams on digital storytelling, guiding creatives, web developers and programmers in project execution.
Stay updated with industry trends and apply best practices in digital marketing and product development.
Deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders on digital strategy and progress.
Grow the existing digital offer with existing clients
Assess the clients’ digital maturity and then assess the effectiveness of their current communication ecosystem.
Identify clients' opportunities and barriers for success.
Identify ways to enhance and deliver more value to key stakeholders.
Develop the digital offer for new clients
Support the pitching process.
Identify areas of growth for the offer
Collaborate with sales teams to assess digital product suitability, identify market opportunities, and creatively execute campaigns.
Collaborate on JP's digital marketing strategy
Enhance our digital marketing efforts, including social media presence and digital campaigns.
Develop your personal brand to promote JP digital corporate communications.

Skills and Attributes:
We are looking for a diverse set of skills that span across technical knowledge, creativity, analytical ability, and strategic planning.
Proven experience in a digital leadership role, with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in digital marketing, strategy and account management.
Good understanding of web development principles, and digital marketing tools. (No requirement for programming skills.)
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to think critically and strategically, with a strong focus on results.
Expertise working collaboratively across departments.
Degree level education ideally in Marketing, Business, or related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
These skills should enable you to effectively plan, execute, and optimise marketing strategies across digital channels to achieve the desired business outcomes.
