Noonah is an employee-owned powerhouse in experiential technology, where creativity meets cutting-edge innovation. We bring events to life with an exciting range of tech, from Live Event Printing and interactive Photo Booths to Prize Giveaways and Robotic Camera Arms.
Partnering with some of the world’s biggest brands and agencies, we transform activations, sporting events, and music festivals into unforgettable experiences. As an employee-owned business, we don't just work for the company—we own it.
We are looking for a Digital Technician to join our production team. This role is the technical heartbeat of our activations. You will be responsible for the setup, configuration, and successful deployment of our digital and hardware solutions.
This is a highly practical role that sits at the intersection of IT, software, and physical production. You’ll be taking projects from the workshop to the live event floor, ensuring that every touchpoint—from the user interface to the hardware trigger—runs flawlessly.
System Configuration: Set up and optimize Windows and Linux-based systems for live event environments.
Deployment: Take ownership of the technical setup on-site, including networking, hardware integration (cameras, printers, sensors), and software launching.
Troubleshooting: Act as the primary technical contact during activations, diagnosing and resolving software or connectivity issues under pressure.
Digital Integration: Implement web-based front ends, configure APIs/webhooks, and manage data capture flows for various client projects.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous "soak testing" in the warehouse to ensure all digital assets and hardware kits are stable before shipping.
Collaboration: Work with the production and creative teams to ensure technical builds align with the client's vision.
OS Mastery: Strong proficiency in Windows (optimization/stability for live events) and familiarity with Linux services.
Hardware Integration: Practical experience connecting and configuring mixed hardware (DSLRs, thermal printers, Raspberry Pis, or network switches).
Web Fundamentals: Confident with HTML/CSS and an understanding of how web apps interact with local hardware.
Connectivity: Solid understanding of networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, 4G/5G bonding) to ensure activations stay online.
Logical Mindset: A strong grasp of "if-this-then-that" logic—you understand how data flows from a user interaction to a backend service.
Adaptable: You thrive in the fast-paced, ever-changing environment of live events.
Problem Solver: You are proactive in spotting potential fail points and building in redundancies.
Communcator: You can explain technical requirements clearly to colleagues and on-site clients.
Mobile: Full UK driving licence is essential, as you’ll be traveling to various venues.
Location: Based between our office (S44 5HY) and warehouse (S44 6BB).
Schedule: Full-time. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, but event delivery requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.
Ownership: As an Employee-Owned business, you receive a share of the profits and a real say in our future.
Perks: Company events, on-site parking, and a clear path for progression in a growing tech department.
