Job Description

Build and deliver strategic commodity plans that support low-volume, high value manufacturing and long-term business requirements.
Lead supplier sourcing, contract and pricing negotiations across current production and future vehicle programmes.
Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Programme teams to support vehicle launches, resolve supplier challenges and achieve programme targets.
Take commercial ownership of key production commodities, securing high-quality components at the right cost while maintaining continuity of supply.
Manage purchasing and supplier activity to ensure components are available in line with requirements.
Drive commercial improvements and cost-reduction initiatives without compromising component quality, engineering standards or production delivery.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Proven experience as a buyer or similar Procurement role
Comfortable working within a fast growing business environment
Track record working in procurement within precision engineering or automotive environments
Experience of developing and communicating Procurement Commodity Strategies
