Direct Payments Assistant

You will provide office support to ensure that direct payments are correctly processed and monitored. Our team provide advice and guidance, acting as the main point of contact for direct payments, covering the adult social care systems, direct payment helpline and email inbox.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have the ability to record proficiently whilst gathering information via the telephone
• Have the ability to manage their own workload and prioritise work
• Have the ability to manage constant and conflicting demands, often to meet tight deadlines
• Can deal with customers with a wide variety of need and vulnerabilities
• Have the ability to work constructively with colleagues as part of a team
