The Opportunity

As Head of Planning, you will take full ownership of the Planning service line, leading its growth, performance and long -term strategy.

You'll oversee the delivery of major residential and mixed -use developments, strengthen client relationships, drive business development activity and help establish the business as a leading name within the planning sector.

This is a genuine leadership opportunity with significant autonomy, visibility and influence within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and grow the Planning team
  
• Take ownership of the Planning service line and its strategic direction
  
• Deliver high -quality planning advice on major residential and mixed -use developments
  
• Lead complex and high -profile client instructions
  
• Build and strengthen relationships with developers, landowners, housebuilders and key stakeholders
  
• Drive business development initiatives and identify new growth opportunities
  
• Mentor and develop planning professionals across the business
  
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across land, planning and development disciplines
  
• Maintain exceptional standards of technical delivery and client service
  
• Contribute to wider business strategy and leadership decisions
  

About You

Essential Requirements

• MRTPI Chartered Planner
  
• Minimum 10 years' post -qualification experience
  
• Strong consultancy background within client -facing and fee -earning environments
  
• Significant experience delivering large -scale residential and mixed -use developments
  
• Proven experience leading and developing teams
  
• Strong commercial awareness and business development capability
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  
• Collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people
  

Package & Benefits
