Director - BPMN Centre of Excellence Lead - Dublin

A leading international financial services organisation is seeking a Director Centre of Excellence Lead Business Process Modelling to establish and guide a new Centre of Excellence for BPMN and DMN in Dublin. This pivotal role offers you the chance to shape process orchestration strategy across EMEA, working closely with senior leaders and talented teams in both Dublin and London.

As Director Centre of Excellence Lead Business Process Modelling, you will play a central part in shaping the future direction of process orchestration within this global financial institution. Your daily responsibilities will include managing a diverse team in Dublin, providing mentorship and fostering professional growth while ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals. Your background should demonstrate deep knowledge of BPMN/DMN methodologies along with practical expertise implementing these frameworks at scale using advanced platforms like Camunda. You will have successfully established Centres of Excellence or similar strategic entities before-ideally rolling out multi-location models that require close coordination between regional offices.

Experience Required;

• Extensive expertise in BPMN (Business Process Model Notation) and DMN (Decision Model Notation), including hands-on experience setting up frameworks for process modelling, orchestration, analytics measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Proven track record in establishing new Centres of Excellence or similar strategic hubs within large organisations-ideally with exposure to multi-centre hub-and-spoke models.
• A people manager who has recruited, developed, and supported diverse teams operating within global matrix management structures.
• Experience with Camunda would be advantageous but not a pre-requisite.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different business areas and geographies.
• Familiarity with implementing process orchestration platforms such as Camunda or equivalent technologies within complex environments.
