Job DescriptionThe OpportunityWe have a great opportunity to join the senior leadership team as a Director at an ambitious, growing and award winning consumer PR agency where creativity is the thing that gets them out of bed in the morning. The role suits someone who loves the industry and who gets a thrill from the chase of new business, seeing that campaign splash across the news pages and websites, and then likes to finish the year picking up a few trophies in awards season. About You:We want an established Director or a Senior Associate ready to step up, probably with at least some agency experience at a creative consumer business. Ideally, someone who wants the opportunity to help shape the future of a growing agency. They need to be happy to deal with the business and team development side that entails, but crucially, also someone who still loves to get hands on with the work. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on autonomy, would love to shape and develop their own team, has a proven track record in planning, running, and growing accounts, and is passionate about media relations.The AgencyThis consumer PR agency is all about doing great work that gets great results, and uses insights and clever application of creativity to put its clients at the heart of conversations. Additionally, they offer a range of perks and benefits including unlimited holiday, structured wellbeing support, private medical insurance, and more.The role:In this senior role, you will oversee a significant portion of the agency's income, initially, you’ll primarily be focusing on one of their largest accounts. Your responsibilities will include managing and servicing a team across a range of areas, leading the planning process and activation for communications campaigns, and driving organic growth and opportunities within client teams. Additionally, you will play a key role in identifying, leading, and managing new business opportunities, actively contributing to the growth, development, and success of the agency. You will operate with multiple hats, including but not limited to being:A trusted client partnerYou excel in building trusting relationships, collaborating, and contributing to exceptional work. With a strong grasp of client business and industry trends, you drive innovative ideas, ensuring maximum impact for clients. You show excellent instincts and sound strategic judgment, and become the go to person for your clients. Someone who is always looking to improve them and their teamYou will actively contribute to the development of yourself and your team, fostering a diverse and inclusive culture. As a leader in the business, you partner with the SLT, advocate for your team, and identify learning and growth opportunities.Someone hungry to grow the team and businessYou will contribute to the financial success of the agency, overseeing team financials, forecasting, staffing, and scoping client work.
