Your new role
This is far more than a traditional accountancy position. Working closely with business owners and senior decision-makers, you will act as a trusted adviser, helping clients navigate a wide range of commercial, financial and strategic issues.Key responsibilities will include:
Advising owner-managed businesses on accounting, financial reporting and business matters. Building and developing long-term client relationships. Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client outcomes. Delivering commercially focused advice and practical solutions. Supporting and developing junior team members. Contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm.You will also gain exposure to a broad range of complex client situations, providing the opportunity to expand your expertise beyond traditional accounting disciplines.
What you'll need to succeed
ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification. A minimum of 3-4 years' post-qualified experience. Strong accounting and financial reporting expertise. Good knowledge of personal taxation. Experience advising owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A commercial mindset with a practical, solution-focused approach.
