We are currently looking to hire a Director, Insurance and Memberships to join our Corporate Team (SPS Global) in Hereford, England, United Kingdom.

*This position allows for remote work arrangements from the United Kingdom only. In-office work may be required based on the supervisor's needs. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Director of Insurance is a senior management role responsible for overseeing an organization's insurance strategies and operations. This role involves developing and implementing insurance strategies, managing the insurance portfolio, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving business growth. Key responsibilities include leading teams, building relationships with stakeholders, and contributing to the organization's overall success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be the central point of contact to manage the existing Travelers insurance contract to successful renewal in 2027.


• Be the business development lead for insurance-related business in SPS/Concentric.


• Work with Travelers Insurance to develop new insurance products with SPS support.


• Develop business opportunities in Travelers by supporting other lines of insurance such as Personal Accident.


• Work with other insurers to promote the company's capabilities, looking to support a wider portfolio of insurance carriers and lines. 


• Actively engage with Insurers and Brokers in the London Insurance market to promote SPS services.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.


• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance


• CPA certification


• Ten years of hands-on accounting managerial experience


• This position requires up to 30% travel 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree with a proven track record of managing multi-million dollar insurance portfolios and driving membership retention and growth
