I’m currently working with a growing healthcare and pharmaceutical market research business looking to appoint a commercially driven Director of Business Development to play a key role in their next phase of growth.

This is a true new business opportunity — you’ll be responsible for opening doors, building senior relationships and turning them into long-term commercial partnerships across the healthcare MR space.

🔹 Patient & caregiver recruitment

🔹 Online surveys, interviews & other methodologies

🔹 Flexible data-collection solutions for complex research projects

🔹Healthcare & pharmaceutical MR consultancies

🔹 Healthcare communications & consulting organisations

The role will involve building the BD strategy, generating new business, developing a strong pipeline, leading proposals and negotiations, and growing strategic accounts.

🔎 Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience selling data collection, sample, fieldwork or research services

• An established network within healthcare/pharma market research

• A track record of winning new business

• Strong senior-level stakeholder relationships

• A consultative, commercially driven approach

• The ambition to build something, rather than simply manage an existing book
