We are seeking a Director of Data and Systems to lead our IT and data initiatives, ensuring high-quality, reliable solutions that delight our users and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning : Build and implement a roadmap for IT that supports our overall technology and business strategy, driving continuous improvement.
Internal Infrastructure Management : Oversee all aspects of internal IT with the support of the IT Manager, including hardware, infrastructure, and user support.
Internal Systems Management : Install, manage, and maintain internal systems, including ERP, HR, CRM for go-to-market teams.
Acquisition IT Integration : Integrate acquired businesses from an IT infrastructure perspective.
Product Infrastructure Management : Ensure well-architected and resilient solutions for external products, alongside robust backup and recovery approaches.
Cyber Security : Implement information security tools and processes to protect company data, systems, and networks. Ensure compliance with regulations and support sales teams by highlighting our security credentials.
Data Compliance : Own data protection controls across all teams for both internal users and customer data, including GDPR compliance, DPIA responses, and other relevant global data protection laws.
Data Engineering : Oversee the operation, security, and availability of data pipelines and data warehouse in collaboration with the data engineer and business intelligence team.
Budget Management : Plan and forecast costs for IT operations and capital expenditures, managing resources to implement strategic plans.
Project Management : Lead IT transformation and company integration projects from inception to completion.
IT Processes : Create, own, and test Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), Acceptable Use Policies (AUP), IT certification processes, and other relevant procedures.
Leadership : Mentor and lead the IT and systems team, fostering training and development while communicating effectively with stakeholders.
IT Innovation : Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices, enabling innovation within the team and organization.

Required Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience leading data and IT systems, including transformation, project management, process definition, security, data privacy, and system operations.
A passion for technology and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.
Experience building executable roadmaps and strategies for best practice implementation of change
Expertise in company-wide data processes, including proper handling of customer data following GDPR regulations and best practices.
Strong technical skills in infrastructure, networking, and security, with experience in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
Background in data engineering, including reporting, analytics, and data warehousing is preferable
Experience ensuring cloud best practices and operational efficiency of cloud-deployed products.
Flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, fast-paced culture.
