Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership on ecological matters across a diverse range of projects, including infrastructure, residential, and mixed-use developments.

• Oversee the design and delivery of ecological surveys, assessments, and mitigation strategies.

• Lead on project direction, QA, and technical review to ensure work meets the highest professional standards.

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert advice and contributing to business development.

• Mentor and support junior and mid-level team members, promoting technical excellence and career growth.

• Keep up to date with changes in UK legislation, policy, and industry best practice.
  
  

What They're Looking For:

• Extensive experience in ecological consultancy, with a strong technical background and leadership capabilities.

• Degree (and ideally postgraduate qualification) in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• In-depth knowledge of UK wildlife legislation, planning policy, and ecological best practice.

• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
