Director of Finance

A fantastic opportunity to join a successful owner-managed manufacturing business as they embark on a period of strategic transformation.

Reporting to the Managing Director in this newly created position, the Director of Finance will play a pivotal role in the future success of the business. You will be a key advisor on all financial and commercial matters, guiding the business through change and growth.

This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role that demands strategic thinking, operational oversight, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partner with the Managing Director on business performance and transformation initiatives
• Providing commercial insight to drive decision making
• Lead financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Provide commercial insights to support investment and operational decisions
• Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations
• Providing confidential support to the business owners on matters including wealth management and estate planning

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with significant post-qualification experience in a senior finance leadership role. You'll ideally have FMCG manufacturing experience and experience of operating in an owner-managed business.
