Job Description - Director of Food & Beverage

Sircle Collection is coming to London in 2024! Opening our first boutique hotel in the UK in Q3 2024, we are looking for a Director of F&B to join our preopening team and successfully bring our brand to life.
The hotel will be located next to Liverpool Street Station, tucked away in Devonshire Square a charming brick courtyard with 81 serene rooms, including 11 suites, The Cover our private members' club, and our Seven North restaurant a concept by award-winning Chef Eyal Shani. The newest location will be part of Sircle Collections vibrant group of one-of-a-kind hotels, restaurants and bars in Europe's most interesting neighbourhoods.

What youll be doing with us:
As our Director of Food & Beverage, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary identity of our preopening hotel in London. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations, which includes, Seven North Restaurant, breakfast service, service in The Cover and our Room Service & Minibar operation. Your creativity, leadership, and strategic vision will be instrumental in establishing our F&B as the premier destinations in London's vibrant dining scene.
Working closely with our Executive Chef and F&B Managers, you'll craft menus that dazzle, uphold our quality benchmarks, and boost profitability. Your role will also entail setting and reinforcing operational standards, ensuring strict adherence to hygiene and safety regulations for the utmost cleanliness and food safety. You'll build, mentor, and motivate a team of culinary and service experts, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration where everyone strives for continuous improvement.
Your strategic prowess will shine as you drive revenue growth through smart pricing strategies, efficient cost management, and innovative sales and marketing endeavours. By nurturing partnerships with local suppliers and artisans, you'll infuse our offerings with the finest ingredients, enriching our culinary repertoire.
Remaining attuned to industry shifts, customer preferences, and competitor dynamics, you'll leverage insights to constantly refine the guest experience and maintain our competitive edge.
Job requirements
Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a senior leadership role within the food and beverage department of a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant, with a track record of driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.
Comprehensive understanding of culinary principles, food trends, and industry best practices, with the ability to translate insights into innovative F&B concepts and offerings.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build strong relationships, and foster a positive work environment.
Excellent financial acumen, with a demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets, analyse financial data, and drive revenue growth and profitability.
Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively multitask, prioritize workload, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and, payroll (Fourth) and F&B management software.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
Given that we're in the preopening phase, we need someone who can adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will ideally join us in June/ July 2024.
