This is a rare opportunity to join an established and highly respected charity at a pivotal point in its journey. As Nugent expands its supported housing portfolio and progresses towards Registered Provider status, we're seeking an exceptional property leader to join the Executive Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in the organisation's future.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you'll provide strategic leadership across property, asset management, compliance and investment, ensuring Nugent's homes remain safe, sustainable and fit for the future. You'll lead the development of the organisation's long-term property strategy, supporting portfolio growth and helping establish the foundations of a successful Registered Provider.

About the role
Working closely with the Chief Executive, Executive Leadership Team and Board of Trustees, you'll provide strategic leadership across Nugent's property function. You'll shape property strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, drive investment and play a pivotal role in the organisation's long-term growth and Registered Provider ambitions.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the development and delivery of Nugent's long-term Property and Asset Investment Strategy.
* Providing Executive leadership for property compliance, landlord safety and regulatory assurance.
* Driving improvements across responsive repairs, planned maintenance, voids and capital investment programmes.
* Supporting Nugent's Registered Provider journey by ensuring robust governance, compliance and operational readiness.
* Leading property acquisitions, asset investment and portfolio growth opportunities aligned to the organisation's strategic objectives.
* Providing strategic advice to the Executive Team and Trustees on investment priorities, property risk and estate optimisation.
* Developing high-performing teams and embedding a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement and customer focus.
* Providing strategic oversight of Nugent's landlord responsibilities, working collaboratively across the organisation to ensure property services, customer outcomes and housing management arrangements support compliance with Registered Provider standards.
About you
We're looking for an accomplished property leader with Executive or senior leadership experience who has the vision, credibility and commercial awareness to help shape Nugent's future.
This role requires an inspiring and commercially astute leader who can balance strategic vision with operational excellence, ensuring Nugent's homes remain safe, compliant, sustainable and ready to support future growth.
You'll bring:
* Significant senior leadership experience within a Registered Provider, Housing Association or similarly regulated housing organisation.
* Extensive knowledge of property compliance, building safety and statutory landlord responsibilities.
* Experience of developing asset investment strategies and leading property services.
* A track record of delivering strategic change within housing, supported housing or another regulated environment.
* The ability to influence at Executive, Board and stakeholder level.
* Strong commercial, analytical and decision-making skills.
* A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people and driving organisational improvement.
* A strong understanding of the Consumer Standards, landlord responsibilities and customer-focused service delivery within a Registered Provider environment.

· Salary: £79,802 per annum
