Job Description - Director of Revenue Management

Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, our luxury hospitality client seeks a strategic leader to join them as Director of Revenue Management, on a permanent basis.

This job would suit a commercially driven revenue leader to be responsible for developing and executing innovative revenue optimisation strategies, driving pricing decisions, and supporting overall business performance across all hotel departments.

This luxury five-star hotel is part of a globally recognised hospitality group, offering world-class service and premium guest experiences. The business is committed to excellence, innovation, and continued growth in a competitive global market.

The successful individual will have at least five years' experience in senior revenue management within the luxury hospitality sector, with a deep understanding of forecasting, pricing, distribution and market trends. A degree in hospitality, business or economics is essential, with a master's qualification preferred. Strong leadership, analytical ability, system expertise (e.g. IDEAS G3, TARS), and strategic decision-making are key.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive revenue strategies across all channels
  • Analyse historical data, competitor pricing and market trends to optimise rate and inventory decisions
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operations to align revenue plans with commercial goals
  • Oversee distribution management and drive performance through all revenue platforms
  • Present regular revenue performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Implement and enhance revenue systems and tools to support data-driven decisions
  • Forecast demand accurately and drive the hotel budgeting and planning process
  • Track key performance indicators and provide insights that inform tactical adjustments
  • Ensure adherence to financial targets and identify opportunities to improve market share
  • Maintain expert knowledge of market dynamics and lead proactive strategy shifts
  • Contribute to cross-functional collaboration, innovation and leadership culture across the business
  • Champion continuous improvement and the adoption of best practices in revenue strategy
  • Support team development and high performance within the commercial and revenue teams
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing integrity and revenue-related audits
  • Support the implementation of F&B revenue strategies and related certifications where applicable
