In our journey forward, we seek an experienced Director of Visual Merchandising to join our Los Angeles team to support our international retail presence and growth under the guidance of the Chief Revenue Officer.


 


Your Role


As a direct report of the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be instrumental in supporting the continued growth of Pixi’s International retail presence as well as innovating new ways to better connect with the consumer in the retail space.


 


Responsibilities



  • Planning and developing merchandising strategies for all retailers globally.

  • Defining, designing, and implementing a creative visual strategy adhering to brand guidelines.

  • Managing and maintaining the Company’s Artwork Library inhouse.

  • Working with vendors, suppliers, and distributors to negotiate prices and plan delivery schedules.

  • Managing KPIs in terms of cost and budget for all instore activities.

  • Arranging Product Displays in coordination with account managers including layout plans for both specific shelves and the overall gondolas.

  • Helping manage SKU assortment to align with Global goals and strategies.

  • Servicing the Company’s internal Sales teams with any needed visuals, artwork, or POG requests.

  • Keeping ahead of gondola trends and instore visual displays to increase sales.

  • Working with all internal Teams globally on all aspects of display needs.

  • Managing all aspects of seasonal changes and updates.

  • Becoming aware and staying knowledgeable of the unique store environments of each retailer and the shopping patterns of their local customers.


 


Requirements



  • Must be passionate about protecting and constantly evolving and improving brand appearance and shop ability instore.

  • Must be technically savvy in terms of design and planning software.

  • Must have a successful track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs including global instore budgets.

  • Must be available to travel to retailers, display manufacturers, trade shows, and be hands-on with international design and production display partners to keep ahead of changes, trends, and Beauty industry ‘best-in-class' POGs.

  • Must have a high level of accuracy / attention to detail.

  • Experience within the beauty industry is a plus.
