Director - Performance Engineering

As Head of Performance Engineering, you will lead the charge in protecting and enhancing the world's most established low-latency, high-throughput market data and news distribution system for LSEG. Each day, our platform ingests 120 billion messages and distributes them globally at rates exceeding 2 trillion messages, serving the critical needs of the financial ecosystem.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• Proven Leadership Skills in Global Engineering Functions
• Proven experience collaborating across various disciplines and organizational structure
• Ability to swiftly analyze complex problems and communicate them effectively at an executive level
• Strong communication skils
• Proven track record of managing large technology transformation projects in the financial industry
• Experienced in agile software development practices
• High emotional intelligence, able to read the room and understand organisational complexities
• Coordination of product roadmaps

Experience: 15+ Years in Engineering
Disciplines: C++, Non-functional testing and quality assurance, Proven analytical skills, Extensive Operating System and Performance Tunning, Database Optimization, High performance and low-latency messaging, distributued systems, exchange and financial background
