The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team is a world-class commercial organisation experiencing tremendous growth as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our core solutions. Our team brings payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe.  Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi Nationals and Governments.  We work closely with Issuers, Merchants, FinTechs and other ecosystem players to deliver these services.  We believe that the market is at an inflection point whereby Visa can play a larger role in building and delivering solutions around the world. 

This Director, Product Solution Design is responsible for technical solutioning to support strategic initiatives such as eInvoicing and innovative new product development for VCS. The position will provide expertise to solution for new areas of opportunity that may include new use cases, FinTech constructs or verticals. As the payments landscape rapidly evolves, it’s imperative that we have specific, deep knowledge of our capabilities to drive solutioning, leveraging VCS, as well as products and services from the broader Commercial & Money Movement Solutions and Value-Added Services teams, as well as key partners, to bring the best of Visa and to ensure delivery of best-in-class solutions for our clients and partners.

You will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners to translate market needs into actionable product strategies. This role requires a results-driven professional who excels at managing complex projects and delivering impactful solutions. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional that understands both the business and technical aspects of payments and has a track record of delivering solutions that exceed client expectations. The Director will work across Product teams to define go to market approach, collateral, and ensure market readiness. This role requires strategic thinking, innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The candidate must be creative and hands-on, have a bias towards action and inspire others with their vision.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the scoping and technical solutioning of eInvoicing solutions and other new commercial and product concepts.
• Conduct focused workshops and discovery sessions to gather insights and define solutions.
• Develop detailed requirements and business cases and collaborate with Product teams to prioritise resource effectively across initiatives.
• Translate client needs into actionable plans that guide internal product development efforts.
• Identify common client needs and develop solutions leveraging the best of Visa’s and third-party partners’ capabilities.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to align on product delivery and define go-to-market approach, collateral, and ensure market readiness.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, challenges, and outcomes.
• Confidently present and articulate the business value of proposed solutions to business managers and executives.
• Collaborate with diverse internal and external partners to develop, sell, and deliver solutions.
• Partner with Sales and solution teams in region to close deals, identify best-in-class ways to implement existing products to solve new business problems and capture requirements for areas that require development.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

• Expertise in eInvoicing, commercial payments and familiarity with market needs and trends.
• Proven ability to lead a range of product development initiatives from concept to launch.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex initiatives in a matrixed and distributed global organization.
