As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transaction Services Director to lead a team in Bristol.
Position Overview: As the Transaction Services Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the transaction services function within our corporate finance division.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead a growing team of professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial due diligence, transaction support, and advisory services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of transaction services professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the team's success and professional development.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing strategic transaction advisory services to drive successful outcomes.
Financial Due Diligence: Oversee the execution of financial due diligence processes, including analysis of financial statements, identification of key business drivers, and assessment of risks and opportunities associated with transactions.
Transaction Support: Provide expert guidance on M&A transactions, including support in negotiations, deal structuring, and risk assessment.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within the organization, such as legal, tax, and valuation teams, to ensure seamless integration of transaction services with overall corporate finance offerings.
Market Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide valuable insights to both clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in transaction services, financial due diligence, or related roles within corporate finance.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) would be advantageous.
