Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for data protection and compliance? Our client is seeking a dedicated Disclosure Officer to join their dynamic Information Unit. This exciting opportunity will allow you to play a vital role in ensuring lawful and reasonable data disclosures for Northamptonshire Police, Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue Service, and the Office of Police & Fire Crime Commissioner.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Rights Disclosure Officer, your role will encompass a variety of important tasks, including:

Managing and triaging data disclosure requests, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
Conducting thorough research and analysis to support accurate decision-making.
Preparing and disclosing responses within legislative timelines and performance targets.
Engaging with partner agencies and members of the public to provide timely and accurate information.
Maintaining accurate records and utilising case management systems effectively.
Supporting the production of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhering to them.What Our Client Is Looking For:

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

A solid understanding of relevant legislative acts, including the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act.
Proven attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive issues discreetly.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience managing high workloads independently, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft systems and records management tools.Why This Role?
