Job Description - Dispatch & Warehouse Assistant

We're recruiting on behalf of a world-renowned producer for a Dispatch & Warehouse Assistant to join their busy Uckfield depot.

About the Role:
This role is vital to the smooth running of the warehouse, with a strong focus on forklift operation. You'll be constantly using a forklift to move highly valuable and specific crates, so precision and attention to detail are absolutely essential.

Your key duties will include:

Safe and efficient forklift operation to handle expensive, delicate crates
Picking and packing orders accurately as required
Managing and monitoring stock levels within the warehouse
Working both independently and as part of a team to maintain warehouse organisation and efficiency

About You:

Proven forklift experience with strong operational skills
Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling high-value items
Strong understanding of stock control and warehouse logistics
Reliable, organised, and able to work well on your own as well as part of a team

Package:

Salary of up to £27,500pa
Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Free onsite parking
health cash plan
10% discretionary bonus
5% contributory pension
