Dispatch Operative

Radiators 4u are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Dispatch Operative to join our fast-growing and friendly team in Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.

Ensure all orders are checked and labelled correctly before shipment.

*

Coordinate and process outgoing deliveries with courier and transport providers.

*

Handle incoming goods and ensure stock is stored correctly.

*

Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stock checks.

*

Move stock safely throughout the warehouse as required.

*

Keep dispatch and warehouse areas clean, organised, and safe.

*

Assist with general warehouse duties and support the wider team as needed.

*

Ensure all products are stored, handled, and dispatched in accordance with company procedures.

*

Help maintain high standards of efficiency and accuracy within the dispatch operation.

Candidate Qualities & Experience

*

Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or logistics environment is preferred.

*

Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.

*

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

*

Good organisational and time management skills.

*

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

*

A proactive and flexible approach to work.

*

Forklift licence preferred but not essential.

*

Experience operating warehouse equipment would be advantageous.

*

Basic computer skills for processing orders and updating stock systems are desirable.
