Location: Clevedon, North Somerset (Transport required) BS21
Pay Rate: £19.79 per hour ( includes shift allowance )
Working Hours ( 37.5 Hrs ):
Monday to Thursday: 14:30-12:30
Friday: OFF

Contract Type: Temporary ongoing

Overtime available:

Weekdays Paid at x1.75 base rate
Weekend: Paid at x2 base rateBenefits

Holiday: (25 days + 8 Bank Holidays accumulative) 
£250 gift card after 4 month probation

Start dates as soon as vetting is completedPertemps are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative to join a leading manufacturing company based in Clevedon. The company specialises in producing vacuum and exhaust management systems used within the semiconductor industry. Due to site requirements, successful candidates must provide a full and checkable 5-year work history. Any employment gaps of more than 28 days must be fully explained and supported with evidence. A DBS check will also be carried out.

Key Duties
Carrying out general despatch duties

Preparing goods for despatch and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately

Liaising with freight forwarders, couriers and internal departments

Producing shipping manifests using the company’s in-house freight forwarding system (full training provided)

Supporting warehouse operations and maintaining a safe working environment

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working within a warehouse or despatch environment

Good computer skills and confidence using internal systems

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures

Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be advantageous but is not essential

Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team

Due to the location, candidates should live locally to Clevedon or have access to their own transport
