Are you a detail-oriented and patient-focused professional with a background in pharmacy dispensing? We are recruiting for a Dispensing Assistant to join our client, a leader in pharmacy distribution.

Key responsibilities:

• Labelling and dispensing homecare prescriptions for final accuracy checks.
• Maintaining accurate patient medication records.
• Supporting the dispensary’s smooth operation.
• Ensuring compliance with stock management, fridge temperature monitoring, and general dispensary standards.
• This is a full-time position with flexibility required to meet service needs, which may include urgent medical requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Dispensary Assistant or similar role.
• Attention to detail and the ability to accurately perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads, and self-audit.
• A clear patient focus and willingness to take responsibility for actions.
• Knowledge of therapies related to homecare prescriptions is an advantage.

Desirable:

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services Skills (Dispensing) , if not the client can enrol you on the course.
