Dispensary Manager

We’re looking for a team-orientated Dispensary Manager to join Phlo in a full-time, permanent role. This is a new position that will be responsible for our growing Dispensary Team to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient processing of prescriptions. This role would be ideal for a candidate with team management experience.  You’ll be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team in a modern, digital pharmacy environment. 

 
The Job 

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in the following: 

• Manage and support the dispensary team to ensure prescriptions are processed accurately, safely, and in line with procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the fulfilment manager, pharmacists, and warehouse team to set daily priorities and keep operations running smoothly.
• Help with recruiting, onboarding and training new team members and provide ongoing feedback and guidance to support their development.
• Organise and maintain staff schedules to ensure consistent and adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Ensure logs, records, and processes are up to date and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Contribute ideas to improve day-to-day operations and support the wider team where needed.

The Person

Ideally, we’re looking for someone with the following:

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensing (or equivalent)
• Collaborative and team orientated mindset, with proven experience leading and supporting a team
• A solid understanding of dispensary procedures, and compliance requirements
• A commitment to high standards of safety and patient care
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• An organised, reliable way of working, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
