Dispute Resolution - Head of Department

We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic legal leader to head our clients Dispute Resolution Department. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will provide strong leadership, manage a busy caseload of complex civil litigation matters, and drive departmental success through effective team management, financial oversight, and strategic development.

This pivotal role demands a combination of expert legal knowledge, commercial acumen, and people leadership skills to ensure the department operates efficiently, compliantly, and at the forefront of legal excellence.

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ PQE in Dispute Resolution, with proven experience managing complex litigation matters.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a legal setting.
• Up-to-date, specialist knowledge of dispute resolution law and associated regulatory frameworks.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent organisational skills.
• Exceptional communication and client management skills, with the ability to lead sensitively and effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, case management systems, and time recording.
• Full clean driving license with access to a vehicle.
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours as required.
