Dispute Resolution Solicitor

The successful Dispute Resolution Solicitor will join a friendly team in the Fareham, Hampshire office, working collaboratively with dedicated fee earners and support staff to provide a full spectrum of legal services. This is a key hire offering the opportunity to immediately manage your own caseload and make an impact from the outset.

The day-to-day duties within this job include:

• Managing your own caseload across civil litigation, including Employment Law, Property and Boundary Disputes, Contractual and Consumer Disputes, Contested Probate and Professional Negligence
• Attending court hearings and managing client representation
• Liaising with barristers, experts, and third parties
• Taking a proactive approach to marketing, networking, and business development opportunities.

The successful Dispute Resolution Solicitor will be an ambitious and motivated individual. You must demonstrate both technical legal knowledge and a commercial outlook to manage your cases effectively. You will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:

• Solicitor or CILEX qualified with 3 years+ PQE in civil litigation and dispute resolution
• Proven experience managing your own caseload from start to finish
• Previous experience of working to and achieving billing targets
• Strong advocacy skills with the ability to attend hearings and represent clients
• Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships
• A proactive approach to business development and contributing to the firm’s growth.
