Job Title: Dispute Resolution Solicitor (NQ+)

The Role

You will be part of a busy and high-performing team handling a wide variety of contentious matters. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop and broaden their experience across both commercial litigation and property litigation, working alongside experienced and respected practitioners in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising clients on a broad range of dispute resolution matters
• Handling court actions in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session
• Supporting on complex commercial disputes including contract, shareholder, and professional negligence claims
• Involvement in property-related litigation such as landlord and tenant disputes, title conditions, and access issues
• Drafting pleadings, legal opinions, correspondence, and negotiation strategies
• Contributing to business development initiatives and client relationships

About You

• A qualified solicitor (NQ or above) in Scotland
• Demonstrable interest or experience in commercial and/or property litigation
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• A commercial mindset and commitment to client care
• A team player who is also confident managing their own caseload with appropriate supervision
