Distribution Centre Operative

Talentmark are recruiting for Distribution Centre Operatives to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 3 months. This role is fully on-site, in Goddards Green, Hassocks, West Sussex. There are 2 shift patterns available; you will either work the AM shift continuously or the PM shift continuously. Salary and shifts:
AM shift: 7.30am - 3.30pm - (30 min lunch break) - £15.47 PAYE basic pay rate (excluding holiday pay)
PM shift: 1.00pm - 9.00pm - (30 min lunch break) - £17.01 PAYE basic pay rate (excluding holiday pay)

Distribution Centre Operative Role:

Pick and pack customer orders accurately (correct item, quantity, batch number and expiry date).
Receive deliveries and store stock in the correct area (ambient, chilled or frozen).
Load and unload vehicles and move stock to keep picking areas topped up.
Handle urgent orders, cross-docked items and customer returns.
Use the SAP warehouse management system (WMS) and follow housekeeping/quality procedures to keep the warehouse safe and organised.Your Background:

GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English.
Warehouse experience is desirable.
Forklift licence is desirable, training can be provided.
Good attention to detail and comfortable using computer systems (SAP, MS Office).
Reliable, flexible team player who can follow procedures.
