Distribution Coordinator

We are seeking a hands-on, reliable, and detail-oriented individual to support our warehouse operations and coordinate the shipment of orders, including those classified as dangerous goods.

This role is based at our warehouse in Poole in Dorset. Please note that the work involves lifting and carrying within the regulatory safety limits. Previous warehouse experience is not necessary but a willingness to learn and a can do attitude is required.

Hours of work are:

Monday - Thursday - 0830 -1700 with a 1600 finish on a Friday.

Salary - £25,000/annum

• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
• Wrap and label pallets for domestic and international shipping
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse
• Prepare shipments and arrange couriers/freight forwarding
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, especially for dangerous goods
• Complete shipping documentation accurately
• Coordinate with carriers and customers on delivery schedules
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies

Warehouse, logistics or dangerous goods experience is preferable but not essential as training will be given.

Candidates should have good communication and organisational skills, basic computer skills and a proactive mindset.
