Document Controller

MEP Technical is working on behalf of an engineering contractor located in North Wales and I have been asked to assist with the recruitment of an experienced document controller to join their team on a Permanent basis.

The company is a well established company that provide industrial engineering solutions.

The position is on a permanent basis and is available to start ASAP.

Role overview – Document Controller:

* Responsible for the control, management and distribution of all project documentation inline with ISO 9001

* Ensure documentation is correctly filed, updated and issued in line with project and company procedures and ISO 9001

* Maintain accurate document registers and workflows

* Liaise with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure timely document control

* Ensure compliance with ISO quality and audit requirements

Key requirements:

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Document Controller role within the engineering related sector or similar

* Highly organised with strong attention to detail

* Fully conversant with Viewpoint for Projects

* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

* Understanding of ISO standards and procedures

Contract & salary details:

* Full-time, permanent position

* Salary range £28,000 – £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience and expertise
