About the role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Domestic Cleaner to join a team in Barnsley. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, tidy and welcoming environments.

As a Domestic Cleaner, you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning duties to a high standard and helping to maintain a consistently clean environment. The Domestic Cleaner role is Monday to Friday, offering regular daytime hours and a consistent working pattern.

The successful Domestic Cleaner will be dependable, organised and take pride in their work. Previous cleaning experience would be beneficial, although a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard are equally important.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general domestic cleaning duties to a high standard

• Clean and maintain designated areas in a thorough and consistent manner

• Follow cleaning routines and ensure areas are left clean and presentable

• Use cleaning products and equipment appropriately

• Maintain good standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation

• Work efficiently and manage cleaning tasks within the allocated working hours

Skills and experience required

• Reliable and punctual approach to work

• Good attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good standards of cleanliness and personal presentation

• A positive and hardworking attitude

• Previous experience as a Domestic Cleaner or in a similar cleaning role would be advantageous
