Domestic Couple

Tiger Private is looking for a highly professional and experienced Domestic Couple to oversee the smooth running, maintenance, and upkeep of an elite private residence and its grounds in Kensington. This is a live-in role requiring discretion, initiative, and exceptional organisational skills. The couple will act as primary caretakers and co-lead contacts for the family, ensuring the property is impeccably presented at all times, both for planned and unplanned visits.

Caretaker Role 1:

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and monitoring of the property, including appliances, systems, and infrastructure in both the main house and its outbuildings
• Conduct proactive checks to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operation of all household systems
• Supervise security of the building and grounds, including alarm systems and access control
• Act as co-lead contact for family arrangements while in residence, demonstrating professionalism and meticulous planning
• Drive the principals and family members as needed
• Coordinate and oversee visits from contractors; source quotes and monitor completion of maintenance work
• Light gardening and groundskeeping duties
• Pet care
• Fulfil any additional duties related to caretaking and property management as needed

Housekeeper Role 2

• Take full responsibility for the smooth running of the household’s interior, including cleaning, laundry, wardrobe care
• Maintain and care for high-value furnishings and fine finishes
• Expert care: polishing silver, maintaining woodwork, marble, and care for luxury fabrics
• Maintain and support joint upkeep of the property and its outbuildings
• Share responsibility for household security systems and protocols
• Act as co-lead contact for arrangements for the family during their stays, ensuring all preparations are executed to a high standard
• Liaise with and supervise contractors and service providers; obtain maintenance quotes
• Provide flexible support in any areas required to ensure the seamless operation of the household
• Pet care

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a domestic couple in a similar HNW household
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and sensitivity to the needs of elite principals
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; ability to liaise confidently with contractors and service providers
• At least one partner must have a clean, valid UK driving licence and be able to hire and drive vehicles
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities
• Legally entitled to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS checks for both individuals (or willingness to obtain)
• Familiarity with smart home systems and domestic technology
• Dog friendly

A private, self-contained apartment is provided on the grounds of the property, all utility bills are covered by the employer

Salary £75,000 Gross (for the couple)

Working days – Monday - Friday, 9.00 - 17.00 (flexibility is required when family is in residence)
