Zeal Recruitment are helping a growing Building Contractor recruit for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join their team on an ongoing contract. This will be working in the Sandwell region on local authority housing, starting Monday 28th April 2025.

The Domestic Gas Engineer duties will include:

• Isolating the extending flue pipes
• Occasional repositioning of gas appliances

The successful Domestic Gas Engineer will need:

• NVQ or equivalent in Domestic Natural Gas Installation/Domestic Plumbing & Heating
• Gas Safe Registered
• CSCS or JIB card
• Own Van + Tools
• Own Insurances

The successful Domestic Gas Engineer will be needed on an ongoing basis, so must be able to commit to the length of the project and must able to sign off your own work and provide certification.

Skills:

Pipe fitting, in depth knowledge of Domestic gas regulations, isolation of flue pipes, extension of flue pipes, accuracy, a methodical approach to working, good customer facing skills, good communicator

Qualifications:

• Gas Safe Registered
