Location: Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire
Salary: £43,050 - £46,125 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm
Contract: Permanent

Example Recruitment Group Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Supervisor to join a well-established organisation operating within the domestic heating and property services sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer looking to move into, or progress within, a supervisory position.

The Role

You will oversee a team of gas engineers across the local area, providing technical guidance and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Supporting and supervising a team of Gas Engineers.

* Providing technical advice and resolving issues on site.

* Carrying out quality inspections and health & safety checks.

* Monitoring engineer performance, standards and productivity.

* Supporting new starters with training and development.

* Delivering toolbox talks and communicating technical updates.

* Liaising with clients and assisting with customer issues where required.

* Ensuring engineers hold the correct competencies for the work they undertake.

* Supporting the Regional Manager with the day-to-day running of the operation.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* Relevant NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Heating & Ventilation or equivalent.

* Current ACS qualifications, including CCN1 and CENWAT.

* Solid experience within domestic gas/heating.

* Previous supervisory experience is desirable, although strong senior engineers looking for their first step into management will also be considered.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

* A strong focus on quality, safety and customer service.

* Full UK driving licence.
