Domestic Plumber

Our Client

Domestic Plumber required for our client, they are a well-established plumbing and heating contractor with 17 years' trading history and a strong reputation for quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer care.

They provide a broad range of domestic and light commercial plumbing and heating services across private properties, commercial premises, schools, churches, National Trust sites, care homes, and larger residential properties.

The successful Plumber will mainly cover domestic plumbing works, with some light commercial sites included. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small and supportive team offering good work-life balance.

Domestic Plumber Responsibilities

* Carry out maintenance and repair to domestic heating systems

* Attending domestic plumbing emergency works

* Attend private properties, care homes, schools, churches, National Trust sites, and occasionally light commercial premises

* Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs to a high standard

* Installation of sanitaryware, kitchen plumbing and bathrooms

* Installing radiators, working on cold water systems, fixing leaks, repair burst pipes, replacing valves etc.

* Complete a typical workload of 4-6 jobs per day, depending on the nature of the work

* Provide a friendly, professional, and customer-focused service in occupied properties

* Maintain accurate job records and communicate clearly with the office team

* Work is located throughout Farringdon, Abingdon, Swindon, Witney and surrounding areas.

Domestic Plumber Requirements

* Previous experience covering domestic plumbing maintenance and repair work

* Professional, proactive, and friendly approach when dealing with customers

* Good work ethic with pride in delivering quality workmanship

* Domestic Gas qualifications - CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT (Advantageous)

* LPG and/or OFTEC qualifications (Advantageous)

* Based within a commutable distance of Faringdon

* Full UK Driving Licence

Domestic Plumber Remuneration

* Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience

* Working hours 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours)

* Overtime available

* No enforced call-out
