4Recruitment Services are seeking an experienced Domestic Violence Team Manager to lead the delivery of a specialist Domestic Abuse Safety Hub service in Barnet.
As Team Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Domestic Abuse Safety Hub, leading a team of specialist practitioners including Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs) and other support staff. You will ensure the service delivers effective interventions, meets contractual and organisational requirements, and maintains a survivor-centred approach at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Service Delivery & Operational Management
Lead the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, culturally responsive and trauma-informed domestic abuse service. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, safeguarding procedures, and organisational policies. Monitor service performance and outcomes, ensuring survivors receive timely and effective support. Oversee contract delivery, partnership agreements, referral pathways, and service development initiatives. Produce regular performance reports for commissioners and key stakeholders. Leadership & Staff Development
Provide effective leadership, supervision, coaching, and support to a multidisciplinary team. Facilitate team meetings, case discussions, and quality assurance activities. Promote a culture of learning, reflective practice, and continuous professional development. Support staff wellbeing and foster a positive, high-performing team environment. Performance Management
Ensure accurate and effective use of case management systems. Monitor performance against agreed targets, outcomes, and service standards. Address performance issues appropriately and support staff to achieve their objectives. Implement and review team and individual work plans. Partnership Working & Representation
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners including police, health services, housing providers, children's services, and voluntary sector organisations. Represent the service at multi-agency meetings, including Domestic Abuse MARAC and other strategic forums. Support integrated working arrangements and identify opportunities to strengthen local responses to domestic abuse. Contribute to service development, partnership initiatives, and system-wide improvements. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Significant experience supporting vulnerable individuals, particularly those affected by domestic abuse. Experience managing or delivering advocacy and support services within a regulated environment. Experience of multi-agency working, including MARAC processes and partnership engagement.
Level 3 qualification in supporting victims of domestic abuse (e.g. SafeLives IDVA or equivalent). Degree-level qualification in a relevant field such as Psychology, Mental Health, Counselling, or Social Work, with UK-recognised professional credentials. Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in domestic abuse services. Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services is an equal opportunities employer.
