Outstanding Crawley Secondary School Seeks Dedicated Drama Teacher

On behalf of our esteemed client, an 'Outstanding' Ofsted-rated secondary school in Crawley, we are seeking an exceptional Drama Teacher to join their thriving performing arts department. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique platform to inspire creativity, cultivate talent, and make a lasting impact on the lives of young learners.

The Role

As a Drama Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering a love of theatre and performance arts among students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will design and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and excite, encouraging students to explore their creativity and develop their communication, collaboration, and self-expression skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver dynamic Drama lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school's high standards.


• Foster a vibrant and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and celebrates student achievement.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development.


• Direct and produce school productions, showcasing students' talents and creating memorable theatrical experiences.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the performing arts department and the wider school community.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.


• Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.


• A passion for theatre and performance arts, with a desire to inspire and nurture young talent.
